Brookvale Public School Art Show
On Saturday 21 June we held our first ever Brookvale Public School Art Show at 'If You Like Art' gallery in Brookvale. It was incredible seeing the children's art hung in an actual art gallery. Mrs Hosking and Mrs Kovacks worked tirelessly on the Friday before the show to hang the artworks and make the gallery look really professional.
We were very lucky to have Mrs DeGraaf's mum and dad do the catering for the event for free and boy was it yummy! Nachos, noodles, pulled pork pancakes, pumpkin soup and much much more.
Each class worked collaboratively on a class artwork that was then auctioned off on the night. 1/2J's class artwork sold to Max Dixon for $85! Thanks Max!

Class Artwork for the Art Show
We have been working hard on our class art work for the upcoming Brookvale Public School art show. We are each decorating a piece of a large wooden puzzle which we will then join and glue together. The art work represents the diversity of our class and the love and togetherness we share.
First we did a practise run by tracing our puzzle piece onto a piece of paper and colouring it in. Here are some photos. Stay tuned for some photos of the finished product!
